Cendre Studio is a small studio based in Sydney, Australia, creating unique, handmade beaded jewellery.

Each piece is created intuitively, with a focus on colour, texture and the natural qualities of the materials.

The beads are repurposed vintage and antique glass, alongside carefully selected contemporary glass beads, sourced from small suppliers, antique shops and markets.

The beautiful pigments found in antique glass are created using minerals, gold and metallic oxides. Traditionally hand-blown and hand-cut, the beads have an organic irregularity in shape and surface, adding subtle texture, depth and movement to each necklace.

The beads are strung on pre-stretched silk cord for longevity and strength, and finished with 14k gold-filled clasps and findings.

Each piece is one of a kind, thoughtfully made by hand.
